Office Move-In Cleaning in NYC
A new lease starts with someone else's dust. Before the furniture lands and the team walks in, we clean the empty space top to bottom: vents, closets, restrooms, kitchen, glass, and every floor to the edge. Day one should feel like day one.
- Cleaned empty, before the furniture
- Scheduled around your movers
- Fully insured, COI on request
Cleaning since 2012
The one chance to clean an empty office
Once the desks, cables, and boxes arrive, half the office becomes unreachable for years. A move-in clean is the one moment you can get to everything: inside the cabinets, behind where the fridge will go, the vents, the window tracks, the corners of every closet.
We coordinate with your movers and your building, clean the space empty, and hand it over ready. Most clients roll straight into nightly cleaning from there, and the crew that did the move-in is the crew that stays.
What a move-in clean covers
Everything, because it is empty. We walk the space with you first and build the checklist around what the previous tenant left behind.
Vents, fixtures & high dusting
Every vent, light fixture, and ledge cleared before anything sits under them.
Floors to the walls
Wood floors cleaned and detailed, tile scrubbed, baseboards wiped, every corner.
Closets, cabinets & drawers
Inside and out, so your team's things go into clean storage.
Kitchen & appliances
Whatever the lease came with, cleaned inside and out, or the space prepped for what is coming.
Restrooms
Fixtures, tile, grout, partitions, and drains, disinfected and restocked.
Windows & glass
Interior windows, tracks, sills, and every partition, streak-free for the photos.
Disinfected before your team touches it
A move-in clean ends with a full disinfection pass across every surface: handles, switches, restroom fixtures, and countertops. You are inheriting a space, not the previous tenant's flu season.

Why the move-in clean pays for itself
Reachable once
Behind, under, and inside are only accessible while the office is empty.
Landlord condition
Document the state of the space clean, before your furniture, in case of a deposit dispute later.
First-day morale
A team that walks into a spotless new office starts the chapter right.
Straight into nightly
The crew that cleaned it empty is the crew that keeps it that way.
Clean before the boxes. Ready before the team.
Coordinated with your movers, your building, and your calendar
Move-ins are chaos. We have done enough of them to know the freight elevator schedule matters more than the checklist. We coordinate with your movers and building management so the clean happens in the window that actually exists.
- W-2 crews we hire, train, and keep
- Scheduled to the freight window, including weekends
- Product matched to the finishes you inherited
- Fully insured, with a COI to your new building on request
- Rolls straight into nightly cleaning with the same crew
Office move-in cleaning pricing in NYC
Quoted in crew hours from a walk-through of the empty space, or from the floor plan if you have not got keys yet. A crew of three or four typically finishes in one session.
Move-In Cleaning is quoted after a walk-through, because the right number depends on the space, the condition it is in, and how many crew hours it takes. Tell us about the office and we come back with a firm, hours-based price, usually within a business day.
Offices that start nightly cleaning with Breezy get a credit on the move-in clean.
What onboarding looks like
From the walk-through to the first check-in, here is how a new account starts. Most offices go from first call to first visit in about a week.
- Day 1
Walk-through and quote
We walk your space with you, listen to what matters, and build the checklist. You get an hours-based quote, usually within a business day.
- Days 2 to 4
Building paperwork
COI to your building or landlord, vendor onboarding, badging, keys or access codes, and the freight and after-hours windows your building requires.
- First visit
The crew lead walks it with you
Your crew lead is on site for the first visit, working from the checklist you approved. Same faces from then on.
- End of week one
Check-in and adjustments
A quick call or walk to confirm the scope is right. Anything that needs changing is changed on the next visit.

Move-In Cleaning FAQ
When should the move-in clean happen?
After the previous tenant is out and before your movers arrive. A day or two before move-in is ideal. If the space was just renovated, schedule it after the contractor's final punch list.
Can you clean before we have keys?
We can quote from a floor plan and a video walk-through, then schedule the clean the day you get access.
What about the space we are leaving?
Ask about a move-out clean. Same crew, same scope, so you leave the old office in good standing with the landlord.
Do you coordinate with our movers?
Yes. Give us your mover's contact and the freight elevator window, and we build the clean around it.
Are you insured, and can you send a COI?
Yes. We carry full general liability and workers' comp, and we send a Certificate of Insurance to your building or office manager on request. Ask and it goes out fast, usually within a business day or two.
Are your cleaners employees or contractors?
Employees. Every Breezy cleaner is a W-2 hire we train, insure, and keep. We are one of the only W-2 office cleaning companies in New York, and it is the reason a familiar crew shows up instead of a rotating cast of strangers.
