Good questions
Questions, answered.
Everything office managers ask us before they book, and a few things they ask after. If yours is not here, call (347) 916-3457 and a real person answers, 9 to 5:30.
Getting started
What happens on a walk-through?
We come to your office for about fifteen minutes, look at the space and the traffic, and ask what is bugging you about the current situation. You get an exact quote the same day, in crew hours and a monthly number. No obligation.
How soon can you start?
Most offices are up and running with their crew within a week of the walk-through. Buildings with vendor screening can add a few days. Tell us your timeline and we will work to it.
Is there a long contract?
We keep agreements simple. Ask us on the walk-through. We would rather keep you by doing the work than by holding you to paper.
Can you take over mid-month from another company?
Yes. We do it often. Give us the date your current service ends and we start the next night.
The crew
Are your cleaners employees or contractors?
Employees. Every Breezy cleaner is a W-2 hire we train, insure, and keep. We are one of the only W-2 office cleaning companies in New York.
Will we get the same cleaners each visit?
That is the aim, and it is how we staff. You get an assigned crew that learns your office, and we work hard to keep familiar faces on your floor. Because our crews are employees, they stay with us far longer than the industry norm.
Are your crews background checked?
Yes. Every hire goes through our screening before they start, and we will complete your building's or firm's vendor onboarding, including additional checks and NDAs.
What do your cleaners wear?
Black Breezy polos with the logo, so your building staff and your team always know who is on the floor.
How do we reach the crew?
Your crew lead communicates with you directly, and the office line is answered by a real person, 9 to 5:30. After hours, a text reaches the lead.
Pricing
How does pricing work?
By the hour. We estimate the crew hours your space needs per visit, multiply by our rate and your frequency, and that is the monthly number. Supplies are billed at cost, never marked up.
What does a typical office cost?
A 5,000 square foot office at five nights a week usually lands between $1,900 and $2,500 a month. Smaller offices start around $1,300. Use the instant estimate on the homepage for a ballpark or book a walk-through for the exact number.
Is three nights a week cheaper?
Roughly 40 percent less than five. Many smaller offices run three.
Do you charge for supplies?
At cost. Paper, soap, liners, and product are passed through with no markup. You can also supply your own.
Do you offer a trial?
Ask. We are usually happy to start with a short trial period so you can see the work before committing to a schedule.
What we clean
What does nightly cleaning include?
Trash and recycling, desks and surfaces, floors, restrooms, kitchen, conference rooms, and high-touch disinfection every visit. The exact checklist is built for your office during the walk-through.
Do you do commercial cleaning?
Yes, for workplaces: offices, studios, coworking floors, showrooms, and wellness or medical practices. Commercial cleaning is the broad category. Office cleaning is the part of it we specialize in, and we say so up front so nobody wastes a walk-through.
Do you clean homes, retail, or restaurants?
No. Offices, studios, and workplaces that keep weekday hours. That focus is the whole reason we are good at this.
Do you disinfect?
Yes, as a scheduled service or on call. Full-office disinfection with hospital-grade product, and response cleans when someone on the team gets sick, both quoted in crew hours.
Can you handle carpet, windows, and deep cleans?
Yes. Carpet and upholstery extraction, interior window detailing, quarterly deep cleans, move-in and post-construction cleans, and event resets are all available, quoted by the hour.
Will you touch our computers and equipment?
Not unless you ask. Screens, keyboards, and equipment are cleaned only on request, with electronics-safe product.
Buildings and paperwork
Can you send a COI to our building?
Yes. We carry full general liability and workers' comp, and we send a Certificate of Insurance to your building or office manager on request, usually within a business day or two.
How do you handle keys and alarm codes?
Keys and fobs are logged and held by the crew lead. Alarm codes live in our system, never on paper, and only your assigned crew has them.
Do you work in Class A buildings with vendor screening?
Yes. Badging, dock appointments, freight windows, and vendor forms are handled before the first night. We work in most of the big Midtown and downtown buildings.
Which neighborhoods do you serve?
Every neighborhood in Manhattan below 96th Street, plus DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, and Williamsburg. Somewhere else? Ask.
What if something is not right?
Tell us. It is fixed on the next visit, or that night if it matters. No drama, no invoice games.
