What we mean by commercial

Commercial cleaning, done the way an office deserves

Most commercial cleaning companies in New York are built for volume: a rotating pool of contractors, a square-foot formula, and a different face every night. That works for a warehouse. It does not work for a space where clients sit down, files stay where they were left, and someone notices the fingerprints on the glass.

Breezy does commercial cleaning for one kind of client: workplaces that keep weekday hours. Offices, studios, coworking floors, showrooms, and practices across Manhattan below 96th Street and the Brooklyn waterfront. Every cleaner is a W-2 employee we hired, trained, and kept. You get the same crew, a checklist built for your space, and one number to call.

Questions

Commercial cleaning questions

Do you do commercial cleaning?

Yes, for workplaces. Offices, studios, coworking floors, showrooms, and wellness or medical practices in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We do not clean homes, retail stores, restaurants, warehouses, or industrial sites, and we are happy to say so up front.

What is the difference between commercial cleaning and office cleaning?

Commercial cleaning is the broad category: any business space. Office cleaning is the part of it we specialize in. If your space has desks, meeting rooms, a kitchen, and restrooms, and it keeps weekday hours, it is what we do every night.

How is commercial cleaning priced?

By the crew hour. We estimate the hours your space needs per visit, multiply by our rate and your frequency, and that is the monthly number. Supplies are billed at cost. A 5,000 square foot office at five nights a week usually lands between $1,900 and $2,500 a month.

Are your commercial cleaners employees or subcontractors?

Employees. Every Breezy cleaner is a W-2 hire we train, insure, and keep. We are one of the only W-2 commercial cleaning companies in New York.

Can you send a COI to my building?

Yes. We carry general liability and workers' comp and send a Certificate of Insurance naming your building on request, usually within a business day or two. Vendor onboarding, badging, and freight windows are handled before the first night.

How fast can a commercial cleaning contract start?

Most workplaces are up and running within a week of the walk-through. Taking over from another company mid-month is routine: give us the date the current service ends and we start the next night.
