What we collect when you use this website, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.
Effective
The short version
We collect what you type into our forms so we can call you back about cleaning your office, and we count visits so we know which pages are worth writing. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers, and there is no advertising tracking on this site.

What we collect
In shortOnly what you hand us on purpose, plus the ordinary server logs every website on earth keeps.
Information you give us. When you request a walk-through, ask for a quote, or email or call us, we receive what you chose to send: your name, company, email address, phone number, neighborhood, approximate square footage, and anything you write in a message. If you used the instant estimator before submitting, the frequency and estimate you landed on come along with the form so we do not have to ask you twice.
Information we get automatically. Our host records standard server logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. These are the technical records that let a website be delivered and defended against abuse. We do not build profiles from them.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages get read. It tells us the page viewed, the approximate region you are in, your device and browser, and how you arrived, whether from a search, a link, or by typing the address. IP anonymization is on, Google Signals is off, and ad personalization is off, so this is measurement rather than tracking. It sets two cookies, both named in the Cookie Policy, and you can opt out without breaking anything on the site.
When you submit the walk-through form, Analytics is told that a submission happened and which page it came from. It is not told your name, email, phone number, company, or anything you wrote.
What we do not collect. We do not collect payment card numbers on this website. We do not run advertising pixels, remarketing tags, session recorders, heat maps, or third-party trackers beyond the analytics named above. We do not buy lists, and we do not append data about you from brokers.
What we do with it
In shortWe answer you. We quote your office. We keep records of our own work.
We use what you send us to reply to you, schedule a walk-through, prepare a quote, provide cleaning services if you become a client, send service-related messages such as scheduling and billing, and keep the ordinary business records a company is expected to keep.
We will only send you marketing email if you ask for it, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link that actually works. Replying to a quote request is not consent to a newsletter.
The legal bases, if you are somewhere that asks for them: performing a contract or taking steps at your request before one, our legitimate interest in running and defending the business, and your consent where consent is what applies.
How long we keep it
In shortInquiries about two years. Client records as long as the law says.
Walk-through requests and other inquiries that do not become work are kept for about two years, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Records for actual clients are kept for the life of the relationship and afterward for as long as tax, insurance, and employment law require. Server logs roll off on our host's ordinary schedule, and Analytics data expires automatically after 14 months.
Ask us to delete you sooner and we will, except for anything we are legally required to hold on to.
Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, get a copy of it, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to certain uses, and not be treated worse for exercising any of that. New York, California, and a growing list of other states grant some or all of these; the EU and UK grant them in full.
To use any of them, email getclean@breezynyc.com and tell us what you want. We will verify that the request is really coming from you, then answer within 45 days, or 30 where the rules are stricter. There is no charge.
Californians: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, so there is no opt-out to click, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose that would require one.
How we protect it
In shortEncryption in transit, access limited to the people who need it, and no dark corners of our systems where old data goes to sit.
This site is served entirely over HTTPS. Form submissions travel encrypted. Access to inquiry and client records is limited to the Breezy staff whose job requires it, and our accounts use multi-factor authentication.
No system is perfect and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. If a breach ever affected your information, we would notify you and the relevant authorities within the timeframes the law sets.
Children
In shortThis is a website about cleaning offices. It is not for kids.
This site is meant for businesses and the adults who run them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
In shortIf it changes, the date at the top changes with it.
We will update this page when what we do changes. The effective date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle information you already gave us, we will say so plainly here rather than hoping you do not notice.
